Ahoy there Mates and Mateys!

Welcome to the Dog Days of August, a month that promises lots of sunshine and smooth water. So it is our sworn duty to get out and RIDE!!! We’re coming off a very successful and fun weekend jet skiing the ocean the 70 plus miles to JENSEN BEACH to stay at our home away from home at Fred’s Place otherwise known as CARIBBEAN SHORES. As per usual we had a great group of clubbers with several first timers. I must say that our club is a diverse group. And with any diverse group it should be cultivated and appreciated. That is why they make chocolate and vanilla, everyone has a different idea of what they like or where they want to go and when. Which is what makes life interesting? Next up is our EXCUSE TO RIDE CLEAN UP on Saturday the 7th at SCJR Park at the Pineda Boat Ramp. JIM BRAZELL is all over it with plans to ride. After the ride whoever shows up can eat lunch at one of the many restaurants or they can choose to bring a lunch and pull up to Curt’s on the river and hang out in the pool. Kind of like Jensen Beach without the travel commitment. Attractions at the Coquina Ridge Resort include pool volleyball, horseshoes, ping pong, air hockey, and darts. Of course you can always just hang out and chill. Next up on the adventure calendar is a long weekend excursion to visit the briny deep green ocean waters of Key Largo and surrounding areas. If you have never been there it is quite a treat, with lots of different places to ride and sandbars to hang on. And did I mention the restaurants and bars on the water that are waiting for us? All of that is on tap for the weekend of August 19th to the 22nd.
