Welcome to December, the month of Pearl Harbor Day, Hannuka, first day of Winter, and of course, Christmas!!! December is also the month that PWC owners all over the nation only dream of riding their favorite ski sometime in the distant future. But here in God's country we get to ride this month and ride we will. First up is this Saturday, the 2nd of December we will be doing our monthly clean up at Pineda Park. This is our monthly civic duty where we volunteer to Keep Brevard Beautiful. So come on out and get some exercise bending over for 15
minutes or so and pick up some trash for a good cause. Then if the weather holds as predicted, 81 and no wind, we are going to head down to Grant for breakfast at RJ's where they offer all you can eat for $4.99. Can't beat it,a great day on the water and cheap breakfast too. God bless America!!!

Next up is the MELBOURNE CHRISTMAS PARADE on Saturday evening the 9th. GAIL AMBROSE is the chair for this event and she is getting lots of help from GORDON MARK and TOM WILSON. Gail has gotten GRANT ENGINES to donate the use of two PWC that will be loaded on to Gordon's flatbed which will then be decorated for the parade with blue lites and plastic for water and dolphins dancing in the waves. Should be quite a sight. We will be attempting to get them and their handywork in the AWA magazine, April issue. So come
to the parade and check out the sights and give a big cheer when our guys pass by.

Then on Sunday the 17th we will be riding the St John's at Lone Cabbage. Ride will be at 10:30. We will head north to the bluff and back for lunch at Lone Cabbage. Then for those interested we will then head south to the dam, or as far as water depth allows. Of course, the ride will be weather permitting. Wear your Santa hat, costume, or decorate your ski if you wish, or not. We've done this other
years and it has been quite fun. We'll see if we can get AWA magazine to print a picture of our "decorated" skis. JOHN KEREKES will be the ride captain. Call him at 242 3096 for questions or to let him know you are coming so we can get a head count. If you want to check weather, don't forget you can get a daily update of weather anywhere in the nation including hour by hour wind and temps on our website. Go to the home page and on the left side click on "weather underground".

A busy month for the SCJR CLUBBERS to be sure. And we didn't even mention everybody's individual plans for Christmas. So have fun, ride safe and God Bless.

Your humble President-Curt
