Meeting Minutes — September 2005
Tuesday,
September 13, 2005
The meeting was called
to order at 7:03 p.m. by President, Farieda Reardon. There were 9 members
present and four children.
OLD BUSINESS:
The Front Street Park cleanup was done by Patty, our treasurer. We need
more support at these cleanup/rides. It was mentioned that the last couple
have fallen on holidays and if that happens in the future, maybe we can
rearrange the scheduled dates.
NEW BUSINESS:
Keep Brevard Beautiful is having an award ceremony and breakfast on October
1 at 9:00 am, contact Farieda if you are interested in attending.
Because of this being a conflict with the saturday clean
up and ride, we will do that on Sunday, October 2nd.
Christmas party ideas discussed, suggestions included
River Boat cruise/dinner, or dinner at the dog track.
Tim McKercher
announced that the JAX FRS rally will be rescheduled for October 8th and
9th due to the threat of a hurricane last month and hoped it did not ruin
the planned Suwanee River ride.
PRESIDENT REPORT:
Farieda
said that supporting the FRS is equally important as our club functions
and asked for input from the members in attendance and it was decided
to keep the Suwanee River trip as planned and do a second one the week
after the FRS so that members and guests have a choice to do one, the
other or as in her case both.
V.P. REPORT:
Our V.P. Rick could not attend but wished us a good meeting.
TREASURER REPORT:
Patty could not attend.
EVENT COORDINATOR:
Ride
coordinator Fran Miron reminded all of rides/trips coming up. Lone Cabbage,

October 8th will be the date for a weekend trip to the
Suwannee at Yellow Jacket Campground.
WEBMASTER:
Sherri could not attend.
SECRETARY REPORT:
Tom Wilson
(myself) was present and presented the minutes from August for review.
A motion was made to accept the minutes. As always, Sherri has posted
them on the web so we are reminded to check them out in case you miss
a meeting or want to review.
LEGISLATIVE REPORT:
None.
MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS:
Last months club picnic was great, thanks to all who helped
schedule, cook, setup and cleanup. We all had a great time riding, relaxing
and eating. Everyone agreed to have another picnic there again sometime.
GUEST SPEAKER:
