to order at 7:06 p.m. by President, Farieda Reardon. There were 13 members
present. Farieda thanked those who participated in the Front Street Park
cleanup the past weekend, and asked who had the Keep Brevard Beautiful

OLD BUSINESS:
A discussion was held on guest speakers and it was decided that we would
schedule them quarterly. If anyone would like to have any
additional speakers they can coordinate with the president on such issues.
Lou Lemire agreed to be the technical support speaker this year.
NEW BUSINESS:
The idea of a newsletter/flyer was discussed and voted upon. We will put
together and distribute to watercraft dealers to give out to new buyers.
Appointed contacts to each dealer will be as follows: Lou Lemire - Beach
Sportcycles, Tom Wilson and Fran Miron - Spaceport Cycles, Andy Ziegler
- House of Power, and John Reardon - Champions. Occasional visits by contacts
to check on quantity of newsletters on-hand should help remind them to
pass these out.
Andy made
a motion that was voted on and carried to offer a free six month membership
to all new buyers of watercraft to the club as an incentive for these
new owners to renew and join SCJR.
Picnic dates
were announced for Saturday, April 30, Sunday July 10 and a third
date to be announced. As of now, all will be held at Sebastian Iinlet
State Park.
It was also
decided to use the 50/50 winner as a recipient of the Member Spotlight
to tell a little about each member to the rest of the club in our newsletter.
