Thanked all who participated in this trying year which brought among other things destruction of property and disruption of many peoples lives and well being by four hurricanes. Even the St. Johns Rriver was mostly unridable due to too much water then not enough water. Thanked Farieda for the monetary support she obtained for the club from Yamaha, our coffers are in good shape.

OLD BUSINESS:
Keep Brevard Beautiful granted us an award this year for the clean up effort at Front Street Park. The park looks like it will ready to reopen this week, and we want to continue this effort on a monthly basis.

NEW BUSINESS:
An updated list of current paid members was distributed to all as the new roster of the club. Elections were held after much discussion and a new slate of officers was introduced to the club as follows:

President: Farieda Reardan, Vice President: Rick Charshafian, Treasurer: Patty Ziegler,
Secretary: Tom Wilson.

Appointed positons as follows: Webmaster: Sherri Shields, Ride Coordinator: Fran Miron.

Motion was made, seconded and passed that we make the election of officers in February from now on, as it worked out well this year.

Jim Nastasi made the trip from Orlando and added that he works at disney and could easily bring on some new members but would only do so if we are willing to compromise a little with some events or meetings a little closer to them.

PRESIDENT REPORT:

Farieda thanked all for support, asked that all members do their very best to support the club to make it the best it could be, and announced that she expects all to attend the Florida Rally Series event at Captain Hirams this year.

LEGISLATIVE REPORT:
Need discussed to continue active participation to save our right to ride.

GUEST SPEAKER:
Tim McKercher, formally of Seadoo, is running the Florida Rally Series and gave us a lot of information on the 3 events that will be held here in Florida this year. April 16th, 17th at the Holiday Inn Sunspree in St. Pete; May 7th and 8th at Captain Hirams in Sebastian and Jacksonville Beach in September. Tim is a member of SCJR and will entertain any ideas we have that will add to the success of the event, including fundraising such as a 50/50 drawing. This is a great opportunity for the club and we should take advantage of it.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:25p.m. Hats were exchanged and the new year for SCJR has begun.
