Meeting Minutes — January 2004

Tuesday, January 13, 2004
Meeting called to order at 7:00 by President Wayne. There were 17 members and one guest present.

PRESIDENT REPORT:
Wayne opened meeting with a welcome to all members. Main order of business is the election of new officers.

V.P. REPORT:
No report. Danny absent.

SECRETARY REPORT:
Last meeting minutes were on web-site. Request made for approval. MOTION: To accept minutes as printed. PASSED. Had a meeting of the nominating committee in December.

TREASURER REPORT:
John passed around the Treasure Report. Check out the expiring member list on the website.

EVENT COORDINATOR:
John – Check the web-site out for ride, no local ones planned at the present time. Florida Rally Series will be starting on April 3-4 in Sebastian, May 15-16 St. Petersburg, June in Stuart, just a one day ride, July 16-18 Lovers Key Ride, September 18-19 Savannah, Georgia. Discussion ensued regarding future rides. If you need more information or want to organize a ride, contact John at e-mail nyjets7410@aol.com.

WEB MASTER:
Sherri – Absent. Please keep her updated as to events, pictures, changes, etc. Check the web site out at http://www.spacecoastjetriders.com/.

NEWSLETTER CHAIRPERSON:
Still need volunteer.

LEGISLATIVE REPORT:
No report.

OLD BUSINESS:
Proceeded to election of officers. No other nominations. President will be Rick Charshafian, Vice President Andy Ziegler, Treasurer John Kerekes, John Wilansky will assist, Secretary – vacant, Event Coordinator John Reardon, Web Master Sherri Shields, Legislative Curt Smith. Reminder given to keep Sherri updated as this is our link to everyone. Thanks given to Danny and Jonell for jobs well done. Rick spoke about wanting to keep meetings informal. Next board/organization meeting 1/18 at 10 am at That Little Restaurant, next Chapter Meeting will be held at Chowders on February 10th at 7:00.

NEW BUSINESS:
Kathleen and Lou ran in a leukemia run in Orlando, they donated the money on behalf of SCJR. Reminded us we are still in need of a Secretary, please step up and help. 50/50 given away, meeting adjourned at 8:00.
