for $ 200 this year a motion was made, seconded and carried to make that
donation in honor of Curt’s granddaughter who is currently fighting
and beating her cancer. 4. It was suggested that we as riders need to
take more pictures of each ride or activity and we need to submit more

PRESIDENT REPORT: Curt reported how wonderful candleighters
has been to both his granddaughter and all of the children and families
they help. He got a little choked up but our own and wonderful Sharon
Horseman jumped in as needed to speak for our pres. He is a great guy
but not as tough as his granddaughter, Julia. Curt also thanked the Horsemans

SECRETARY REPORT: Since I had no minutes to read due
to my absence at the last meeting I tried to cover by explaining that
I had been working out of town a lot with little to no notice. Our sergeant
at arms Tim Moberly joked that I must have been on strike with the rest
of the Hollywood writers, and since that was better than what I came up
with, I went with it.
I did try to save face by reporting on the write ups on the new Yamaha
sho fx supercharged machine hitting the market that is getting such high
reviews and I also gave a summary of John Moffit’s world record
setting journeys on a PWC of 5000 plus miles and 11000 plus miles with
no chase boats or crew. This info all came from the current watercraft
world magazine.
Member spotlight: None
50/50 drawing: Eddie’s son Lorenzo sold $28 worth of 50/50 tichets
and Karen Fleckinger got lucky, I mean won the drawing. She became $14
richer and could hardly contain herself. My luck was slowly making a comeback,
bringing me the good fortune of claiming the win of 2 copies of ride magazine
from the AWA. A new jet ski would have been a more exciting prize but
you can’t have it all.
ADJOURNMENT: Meeting was adjourned at 8:06pm. Another
one is in the books.
