Meeting Minutes January '07

Tuesday, January 9th, 2007

The meeting was called to order at 7:13 p.m. by President Curt Smith at
chowders restaurant in Melbourne and 12 mambers were present..

GUEST SPEAKER: none

OLD BUSINESS: Passed out more brochures

NEW BUSINESS : Upcoming elections of officers was discussed, reductuion in
dues was proposed and passed: $20 single, $25 family. New officer position
of sergeant of arms was proposed with Tim Moberly in mind

PRESIDENT REPORT: overview of what we do, suggested a mullet lake ride,

V.P. REPORT: .John reminded us that Tina from , orlando still wants to do a
nice newsletter, spoke of upcoming rides, lovers key in july, Jensen beach
in august, Suwannee in spring, Kissimmee river in sept., discover y river
tours

TREASURER REPORT: John circulated latest report

EVENT COORDINATOR: Not present , need a replacement person that still has a
ski that runs.

WEBMASTER: Chris could not be here so curt gave a report on website,

SECRETARY REPORT: gave a synopsis of the November minutes, spoke of cleanup
at pineda park , picnic at Gordon Marks house and the Christmas parade that
we were in.

Member spotlight: 3 new members " charlies angels" that met some of our
members out at the st. johns river. I believe their names are: Candice,
Maureen and Angie.

50/50 drawing: Josh W. sold $26 in tickets, $13 went to the winner

ADJOURNMENT: Meeting was adjourned at 7:50 pm
