Meeting Minutes — January 2006
Tuesday, January 10, 2006

The meeting was called to order at 7:10 p.m. by  President Farieda Reardon at chowders restaurant in Melbourne. There were 5 members present, 2 guests and no children.

OLD BUSINESS:
This month's Cleanup was done by Tom Wilson, on the usual first Saturday of the month. About 25 gallons of trash was collected and disposed of. The cold winds discouraged any club ride.

The Christmas party over the holiday's was fun. Seven members and one guest attended a dinner and comedy show at Makoto's. Some promotional items were given out from Yamaha and Champions Honda-Kawasaki.

NEW BUSINESS:
Officers were nominated and elected after a vote by all present. Results are as follows: President - Curt Smith; V.P. - John Wilansky; Treasurer - John Kerekes; Secretary -
Tom Wilson; Club ambassadors - Farieda Reardon and Janet Warren.

Next month's meeting was scheduled for Wednesday, February 15th, since the second  Tuesday is Valentines day. The manager already confirmed the date and booked the room.

PRESIDENT REPORT:
Farieda reminded all that  club functions are important to attract new members and awa uses clubs like ours to model new clubs after.

We were also reminded that that dues need to be paid, send in now if you haven't done so already.

V.P. REPORT:
Rick was not present.

TREASURER REPORT:
Patty was not present and no report was on hand.

EVENT COORDINATOR:
Ride Coordinator Fran Miron was not present.

WEBMASTER:   
Sherri was not present.

SECRETARY REPORT:
Tom Wilson (myself) was present but had no minutes to report from November. I could not attend due to school function and no minutes were forwarded to me.

LEGISLATIVE REPORT:
None.

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT:
None.

GUEST SPEAKER:
None.

ADJOURNMENT
Meeting was adjourned at around 8:15, President Farieda Reardon and President elect Curt smith thanked all who attended and promised to try to improve the club, recruit new members, and encourage existing members to become more active by attending as many meetings and rides as possible.
