Space Coast Jet Riders (SCJR) is a chartered American Watercraft Association (AWA) club, located on the beautiful Space Coast of Florida. Currently, we have members not only from all over Florida, but also from as far away as New Jersey.

The SCJR Club is a group of fun-loving, responsible personal watercraft (PWC) (more commonly known as "jetski") riders, always looking for new waters to explore and new friends who "support the sport."

Waters and areas explored on club rides include:

Indian and Banana Rivers
Sebastian Inlet
Silver Glen Springs
St. Augustine
St. John's River
Suwanee River
Jensen Beach
Lovers Key
Key Largo
...even the Bahamas!
You are invited on any of our rides listed on the Calendar page, or to attend any of our monthly meetings. Feel free to contact anyone on the Executive Board to learn more about the club, too.

• Returned to N.J. for 12 years and dabbled in real estate.

Met my wife Linda there and some 30 years later we now have a daughter and 3 grand kids.
We bought a Maaco Collision Repair franchise in 1986 and moved here that same year
Affiliated with the IJSBA and AWA since 1998
Co-founder of Space Coast Jet Riders in the fall of 1999
Served as first president in Jan. 2000; held the office for the first three years.
I have a real passion for our sport and want every PWC owner to understand how important it is for them to be involved in protecting our sport from those that want to restrict our right to ride. The best way to protect our sport is to join a club like SCJR and the AWA on a national level. There is strength in numbers. Stand up and be counted. If not you, who?

March 2006
Construction superintendent for SunCastle homes. I've been building houses and condos in Brevard County
for 13 years.
Graduated from Melbourne High in 1979, and lived near
Ballard Park at the time; I passed the time fishing,
canoeing, sailing and skiing.
Married to Christine for 18 years and we have two
kids, Josh 11 and Jennifer 14.
Josh and I have been actively involved in the YMCA
Indian Guide program for 6 years; I was the nation
chief last year of 7 tribes consisting of 60 dads and
75 sons. Started out in a tent for 2 years, a popup
for 2 years and now we go camping with our 32'
fifthwheel rig at least once a month with the guides
and a couple of times with just the family and a few
friends.
Spend most of our time at the softball fields with
Jennifer, or the football fields with Josh.
Rode standup Kawasakis with my roommates 20 years ago; bought my first ski 7 years ago and joined the club
two years ago.
Enjoy the club mostly for the new friends we have made
and love riding with the club to new destinations
instead of just wandering around the river by
ourselves.
Out of all of the rides or excursions we have gone on,
Lovers Key was definitely the best
