Our clean up crew on November 8th stood by our club and created
a whole bunch of good will with the KEEP BREVARD BEAUTIFUL crew. And
then everyone jumped on their trusty
steeds and hit the briny deep. Temps were in the low 80's and wind
was less than 5 mph all day. We headed up the Banana River and lunched
at one of our favorite watering holes, THE RIVER ROOST. Owner Larry
and his staff always make us feel welcome. After chowing down, most
of us headed up to ski island to hang out and watch the BLUE ANGELS
airshow over the Cape. Its pretty neat hanging there in the shadows
of
the Disney and Carnival ships. We were kind of far away from the Blue
Angels so we decided to bag them and head home. We crossed over the
barge canal (ugh) to the Indian River and headed south from there.
Another fun day for the SCJR CLUBBERS on the high seas. Ain't it great
to live in Florida and belong to the SPACE COAST JET RIDERS????
