| Lover's Key weekend was enjoyed by 12 members from the Space Coast
Jet Riders (Jack, Terry and Summer Hargreaves, Sharon and John Horsman,
Alicia Fannon, Kit and Frank Keeney, Maureen and Orlando, Eddie and
Natalia). The weather was absolutely beautiful and just perfect for
fun in the sun. Only 1 true mishap for our club as Maureen had trailer
issues but not to worry those issues are all gone as she now has a
brand new trailer. Maureen send pictures to everyone of the old trailer
(unbelievable). We rode the Gulf and the bay and saw a variety of
sealife and gorgeous blue water. One guy from a different club enjoyed
the mangroves a little too much as he had to swerve to avoid another
rider and ended up wedged in the mangroves. Besides his pride the
steering wheel was crushed, the front hood compartment cracked and
a big rip in the seat, they had to lift the trees to get him out.
I believe they call him Crash. We also found a nude beach where the
men were fishing with the wrong bait (worms are for fresh water :))
Also, a nude female jet skier gave the women in the group some ideas
to ponder..........I believe Jack came back to check that out a few
times. All in all it was a lovely weekend and for those of you who
have never visited Lover's Key keep it in mind as it is a great set
up with the boat ramp near by and great accomodations. |
