Howdy and greetings to SCJR nation on this beautiful January
morning in Florida, 75 degrees at 9am. We had our elections
last nite and welcomed our new officers as well as bid adieu to
our outgoing ones. President CURT presented TOM WILSON
with his plaque extolling his 4 years of service as Secretary, JOHN
WILANSKY for his 3 years as VP, and JOHN KEREKES for his
8 years as Treasurer. Not enough can be said for the outstanding
service rendered for the club by all of these gentlemen. But as
they say, out with the old and in with the new. Our new officers
have big shoes to fill but they are off to a great start and our club
won't miss a beat having SHARON HORSMAN as VP, ALICIA
FANNON as Treasurer, and KITT KANE as Secretary. These
three are full of energy and ideas and are excited about the future
of SCJR. The meeting itself was a total success. The meeting room
was fantastic. It was bright and colorful, and quiet. And we had
good attendance, 22 fellow cllubbers showed up to show their
support for the new officers and thank the retiring ones. We had
lots of business to cover which will be featured in a forthcoming
email. I would just like to thank everyone for a very successful
evening which signals a continuing of our fantastic club. Its great
